What you need
Some sticky tape and a squeegee (something hard and plastic to rub down the sticker onto the bin), a credit card would be ideal.
Before you start
Assuming that you will be applying your sticker to a bin of some kind, they can generally be quite dirty. Therefore ensure the surface is dry, clean and free from any dirt or grease. Decide on the positioning of your sticker and mark with a pen where the top of the sticker will fall (ensuring that it is level).
Position your sticker - attach a strip of masking tape along the top edge to hold it in place. Then holding the sticker away from the bin, carefully remove the backing paper from the top edge of the sticker using the masking tape as a hinge.*
At the same time gently squeegee (rub) it onto the surface of the bin. Once the sticker is in place, working from the centre outwards, squeegee (rub) it fairly firmly from left to right.
One the backing paper is completely removed, give the sticker a final squeegee/rub; then carefully remove the application tape, leaving all your characters in place.
PLEASE NOTE
*If any part of the sticker fails to lift from the backing paper, simply place the sticker on a flat surface; FIRMLY rub over the area with your squeegee or finger nail, pressing it back against the backing tape and start again.
